For the fourth time in the 43 year history of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Keeneland is the host track and Throughbred U will be back in attendance. Following a calendar year of horse racing, select thoroughbreds have qualified to compete in the 2026 Breeders’ Cup. They are chosen by their performance in the BC Challenge Series races, points in other major races and an expert panel’s selections. These champion horses compete in one of 14 races over the 2 day event.

I am ever excited about The Road To The Kentucky Derby and this year is a little extra special for me. One of my pinhook partnership’s former horses is on the Kentucky Derby leaderboard. He runs again this Saturday in one of the four Kentucky Derby preps of this week’s end. Racing is on at Oaklawn!
