For starters, the 158th Belmont Stakes will not be hosted at Belmont Park. Rather, Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, NY will feature this edition, while Belmont Park continues renovations. The $2 million dollar, Grade I Belmont Stakes is raced on 1 and 1/4 miles of dirt. Three year-old thoroughbreds are nominated to qualify in order to participate. On June 6, 2026 the race will post at 7:04 PM ET. The Belmont Stakes is lucky race thirteen on a card of fourteen!

Furthermore, to watch the Belmont Stakes on television, tune into FOX. The undercard is on FS2 from 10:30 AM to 3 PM ET, then from 3 PM to 4 PM ET on FOX and 4 PM to 7:30 PM ET on FOX and FS1 and finally, the post race from 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM ET on FS2. FanDuelTV will have varied scheduling. Also, be sure to check in on the filly race on Friday. Saratoga will host the Acorn Stakes on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 5:08 PM ET. The Friday televised schedule is FS2 from 11:30 AM to 5 PM ET, 5 PM to 6 PM ET on FOX and 6 PM to * PM on FS1 and variable coverage on FanDuel TV.
