To begin with, Keeneland Race Course, inaugurated in 1936 is located in Lexington, KY. Though the BC World Championships date back to 1984, Keeneland first hosted in 2015. Keeneland has since held the BC in 2020 and 2022. It is wonderful to have the BC back at Keneland again October 30th and 31st, 2026!
Furthermore, fourteen countries hosted BC Challenge Series races. 79 international runners, from ten different countries, will compete among the 222 total selected thoroughbreds this week’s end, at Keeneland.
