Keeneland winners factor big on the 150th Kentucky Derby!

It is so very hard to get a chance to even try to race in the annual Kentucky Derby. This KY Derby is the longest held sporting event and most competitive race, of all time. The Horse Capital Of The World is hosting the final KY Derby prep point race, this Saturday, April, 13, 2024.

Keeneland, in Lexington, KY, is thoroughbred racing! It is only natural that after 150 years of sorting out the grandest of the best thoroughbreds, qualified to race in The Kentucky Derby, that Keeneland is the end of the road. Thus, the Lexington Stakes provides the last champion entries.

After numerous qualifying races, the twenty coveted spots in the KY Derby are nearly secured, except what the final race awards. That final race is Keeneland’s 42nd Stonestreet Lexington Stakes. This race offers 20-10-6-4-2 points to the first five winners respectively.
